Congratulations to TBC graduate (and Missouri State Graduate), Doran Schmidt! Doran is starring as "Wendy" alonside Cathy Rigby in "Peter Pan" in Branson, MO. Doran spent several years at TBC as was in our competition company member. We're proud of you, Doran!
The Broadway Connection offers classes in ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, hip hop, dance team, musical theater/acting, leaps/turns, and stretch for students ages 3 and up. We also have a competition team.
Otherwise known as "TBC", The Broadway Connection offers a choice in dance training: A recreational course of study, designed to offer a quality dance education for the sheer love of dance, as well as a more intense, accelerated course of study, for the career-minded dancer.
TBC graduates have gone on to study in top dance colleges, and have been selected in top collegiate dance teams. Or they have moved on as poised and confident young adults.
Classes run year-round. Regular "school-year" classes begin late August and run through May, when students perform in our "Spring Concert." Summer classses are offered in June and July. New students are always welcome. Call the studio, 571-4446, for more information.
TBC's owner/director, Sue Booton teaches and manages the studio. Our other staff members are all adult professionals in the dance and theater industry. They include Jenny Davis, Amanda Schieler, Mallory Edwards, Molly Jonas, Nikki McMullen, Katy Bezy, Kevin Smith, and Aaron Ellis.
